QGel™ MT 3D Matrices are delivered in vials as a lyophilized powder containing all pre-mixed components. One vial allows you to cast 500 μl gel. Upon arrival, it has to be stored at -20°C.
In order to resuspend the powder to obtain the gels, QGel™ Buffer A has to be purchased additionnally. One buffer vial contain 4mL buffer each (0.3M HEPES, pH 7.9 ± 0.1) and can be used to resuspend as many as eight QGel™ MT 3D Matrix powder vials. It has to be stored at 4°C.
QGel™ products (QGel™ MT 3D Matrix powder and Buffer A) are received in different boxes to facilitate storage and can be easily piled up in fridge/freezer. Watch the animation Your First QGel Experiment to see how to unbox the vials.
