For DNA extraction, you can use conventional kit prepared for measuring DNA (e.g. CyQUANT^® or PicoGreen^®) from Invitrogen. To extract/lyse the cells from QGel™ matrices after cell culture, freeze the gel discs, and subsequently use proteases (e.g. Proteinase K) to dissolve the gels and lyse the cells.
