After several hours in media, the final volume of the gel will be about 30% higher than its initial volume. Please refer to the certificate of analysis of a specific batch of QGel™ MT 3D Matrix for more details. Batch number is printed on the side of every vial of QGel™ MT 3D Matrix.

The exact swelling data provided in the certificate of analysis are generated with gels without encapsulated cells. If cells are encapsulated, swelling could vary depending on the cell seeding density. This aspect requires to be optimized by the end user of the gels.
